01 / UNDERSTAND ACCESS

There’s no web wallet login to find.

Ledger Wallet (formerly Ledger Live) is the companion app for managing accounts with a Ledger hardware wallet. Download the app from Ledger’s official site, then use the app with your own device. It isn’t a website where you enter a username and password to access your crypto.

Some people enable an optional app password to lock local app data. That is different from your device PIN—and neither is your 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase.

Never enter your 24-word Secret Recovery Phrase on a computer, phone, app, or website. Only enter it directly on your genuine Ledger device when setting up or restoring it.

03 / STAY SAFE

Small checks.
Big difference.

Scam pages often imitate wallet login screens. Pause and verify before downloading, connecting, or approving anything.

Ledger’s anti-scam guidance ↗
A

Keep your recovery phrase offline

Never share it with support, enter it into an app or website, photograph it, or save it digitally.

✓
B

Use official download sources

Type Ledger’s address yourself or follow the official link above. Check the domain before downloading.

✓
C

Verify transactions on your device

Read the details on your Ledger’s screen. Approve only what you intended to do.

✓
D

Treat urgent messages as a warning

Unexpected requests to “verify,” “synchronize,” or reveal your words are common phishing tactics.

Having trouble getting in?

Ledger Wallet access is managed in the app on your own device—not through a third-party login page.

I forgot the app password. What should I do?+

The optional app password protects local app data and is not your Ledger device PIN or recovery phrase. Follow the current instructions from Ledger Support; never give your recovery phrase to anyone offering to reset it.

Does Ledger Live have a website sign-in page?+

Ledger Wallet is a desktop and mobile companion app. Avoid pages claiming you must connect your wallet or enter your recovery phrase to “log in.” Download the app through Ledger’s official website.

My accounts or balances aren’t showing. What now?+

Open the app and use its account synchronization or add-account flow. Check your network connection and Ledger’s official status and support resources. Never restore a wallet by typing your words into a computer or phone.

Where can I get genuine help?+

Go directly to support.ledger.com. Do not trust unsolicited direct messages, and do not share your PIN or Secret Recovery Phrase—even with someone claiming to be support.
